The pedal let pass a good level. What bothers me is the button, I like a real switch which retains its state when you unplug. The sound is a bit musty/tinny, which has not to be negative - "vintage" precisely. The names of the controllers are a little misleading. Referring to "the original", the Boss DM-2 (Delay Machine), which is traded for One caveat: Dano pedals can go through 9V batteries pretty quickly, so if you can pick up a standard 9V power source and use it as often as practical, that'll reduce costs over time.
The RV-3 had settings for delay, reverb or delay plus reverb. The newer Boss reverb pedals (RV-5 and RV-6) dropped the delay settings. Perhaps Boss feared they ate into sales of their delay pedals. The pedal harp has around 47 strings (six and a half octaves).
